The lounge area has been intentionally set up to make it a cozy “go to” space for the chilly Johannesburg winter months with a warm paint colour, wooden bookshelves, wood and leather furniture, flat screen television, gas fireplace and dedicated space for a wine cellar/rack as well as a small bar.
A staircase leads up to the private (bedrooms and bathroom) areas of the Unit where the original carpets have been replaced throughout with Bamboo flooring.
The Main bedroom is slightly set apart from the other bedrooms as it is accessed from the top of the stairs by a 4-metre wood and steel “catwalk” giving it additional privacy.
The Main Bedroom has also been set up as a secure safety cell and has a small safe for valuables.
It currently can comfortably accommodate a King Size bed with side tables.

The Main bedroom has ample built in cupboard space and a floor to ceiling, full length mirror on the side of the main bank of cupboards.

The shower is a “walk in” shower with a large glass door and a skylight.
A square shower nozzle, shaving mirror and “concealed glass” shelving for toiletries so that they are not visible from outside the shower has been installed.

The Unit is unique in that it has 4 Visitor’s parking’s directly outside the Unit but within the complex.
There is a very successful community safety initiative operational in Parkview (Safe Parkview) where the public spaces of the Parkview suburb are patrolled 24 hours a day by 3 patrol cars dedicated to Parkview alone.
The Parkview Police station is situated 400m away in Dundalk road.
There is 24 hour guarding of the complex by a prominent security company (ADT), linked to armed response.
The fact that the entire complex only consists of 15 units ensures that the complex security guards become familiar with the residents and their domestic staff, making strangers and their movement more obvious.

(Please note that the safety shutters can be manually operated/overridden from the interior of the Main Bedroom if necessary, in the event of an extended power outage i.e. following the depletion of the battery backup).
